Lulo Productions (Pty) Ltd is a dynamic, Black female-owned independent film production company founded in 2023 by Nolulamo Lulu Maquthu. With a presence in the Eastern Cape (Transkei), KwaZulu-Natal, and Gauteng, we're passionately dedicated to amplifying authentic African stories and nurturing a new generation of Black women producers.

Our mission is to empower African voices through film, inspiring change and fostering cultural understanding. We're driven by authenticity, empowerment, innovation, and impact, always aiming to redefine African storytelling. Our current project, for example, is a captivating documentary exploring the Mpondo people and their unique language.
